How to Add Google Reviews to Your Website
The same embed code works everywhere HTML is allowed. Generate it above, then paste it where you want reviews to appear.
WordPress
In the block editor, add a Custom HTML block where you want the reviews, paste the embed code, and publish. No Google reviews plugin to install or keep updated.
Wix & Squarespace
Add an Embed HTML element (Wix) or a Code block (Squarespace), paste the code, and save. The widget sizes itself to fit the container.
Shopify
Add a Custom Liquid section (or edit your theme template) and paste the embed code. Great on the homepage or product pages where trust matters most.
Any other site
Webflow, GoDaddy, Framer, or hand-written HTML — paste the script tag wherever you want the widget. It loads asynchronously, so it never slows your page down.
Why Show Google Reviews on Your Website?
Displaying Google reviews on your website puts your strongest trust signal — real customers, real stars, verified by Google — in front of visitors at the moment they're deciding whether to contact you. Instead of hoping visitors check your Google listing, the proof is on the page.
Borrowed trust
Visitors trust Google's stars more than testimonials you typed yourself. The widget shows the real thing, pulled live from your profile.
A review flywheel
The built-in “Review us on Google” button turns website visitors into new reviewers — the widget both displays reviews and collects them.
Fresh content, zero work
Every new review adds fresh, keyword-rich customer language to your pages automatically. Set it once and it stays current.
Everything is free — all layouts, themes, and updates, forever. The small “Reviews widget by ReplyOnTheFly” badge is removed automatically for businesses on Review Replies Pro.
Showing Reviews is Half the Job. Answering Them is the Other Half.
Every review on your widget deserves a response — it's a local SEO ranking factor. ReplyOnTheFly emails you AI-written replies for every new Google review. One tap to approve, no login needed.
Free forever plan available. No credit card required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about embedding Google reviews on your website.
How do I embed Google reviews on my website?
Search for your business above, pick a layout (carousel, grid, or badge), and copy the one-line embed code. Paste it anywhere HTML is allowed — a WordPress Custom HTML block, Wix or Squarespace embed element, Shopify custom liquid, or your own site’s HTML. Your Google reviews appear instantly and update automatically.
Is the Google reviews widget really free?
Yes. Every layout, theme, and option is free forever with no signup, no trial, and no review limits. The widget shows a small "Reviews widget by ReplyOnTheFly" badge; the badge is removed automatically for businesses on the Review Replies Pro plan.
Does the widget work with WordPress?
Yes. In the WordPress editor, add a "Custom HTML" block and paste the embed code — no plugin installation needed. It works the same way in Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, GoDaddy, and any site builder that allows embed code.
How many reviews does the widget show?
The widget shows your five most relevant Google reviews — the same ones Google surfaces through its official Places API — along with your live star rating and total review count. Reviews refresh automatically about once a day.
Will the widget slow down my website?
No. It is a single lightweight script (about 8 KB) that loads asynchronously after your content, and review data is served from an edge cache. It has no dependencies and will not block your page from rendering.
Do the reviews update automatically?
Yes. Review data is refreshed from Google roughly every 24 hours, so new reviews and rating changes show up on your site without you touching anything.
Can I show only my 4 and 5 star reviews?
Yes — there is a minimum-rating option. That said, showing all reviews often converts better: visitors trust a 4.7 with a few critical reviews more than a suspiciously perfect wall of 5 stars.
Do I need a Google Business Profile to use this?
Yes. The widget pulls reviews from your Google Business Profile listing. If you don’t have one yet, you can create a free listing at business.google.com.
